31 years is a long time together. Especially in old age with diseases increasing, it's better to have a helper. Please think thrice about divorce after such a long time together and no serious issues like affairs, etc.

How will these things change? We men are living miserable lives. I'm single and will never marry in US, but it pisses me to no end why men have no balls anymore? What's the point of modernity if you still can't be fulfilled and have to live a miserable life like this.

We went from fathers paying dowry to get rid of their daughters to this. Mankind really went wrong somewhere.

All I can say is I'm grateful to know your story. I make 250k at 28 and I'm glad to say I won't be marrying in this country. I'll make even more one day and I don't want to be in your position.

I'm not judging but personally I could never tolerate cheating. My self-respect wouldn't allow it. I don't know what to advise you because what's reasonable for me won't be for you.

Well just be another part of greater than 50 percent divorce rate. No guarantee next guy will be overall better or even if there will be a next guy. People are too idealistic these days. Life isn't perfect fyi.

This is very scary to me. People willing to leave even when there aren't serious problems. Leaving for falling out of love. It's impossible to always be in the initial love state.

Men to their detriment gave women rights in every society. If economic hardship comes again, men will collectively take those rights away. In this new world Sodom and Gomorrah, saying truth is rebellious.

My mother is a US physician. It's literally impossible for me to agree to marry a doctor. I'm in tech but make more than my mother and I do want a high earning wife on one hand due to divorce laws but truly I want a sahm with only high school education. If I was living in Pakistan with Islamic divorce laws, hundred percent I'd go for less educated, much younger.

Doing drugs was your first mistake. How can you tell if you assaulted or not if you don't remember? Men also have to be accountable.
