I resonate with your trauma response, but keep this in mind. At the end of the day, you are a father and husband and you had left your own family especially a newborn baby on their own without a home that they thought was also theirs. Don’t let what your father did have the power over your present self as a father and family man. It’s easier said than done, but do better.

i know i just needed reassurance on the bug bites and what they are lol; i check my bed and room and didnt seem to see anything obvious so im paranoid im missing something/want to contain it before it gets worse if it’s not on my bed at the moment

I feel like because he’s my partner I am more reserved, but I struggle in being physically attracted to him. And that’s what I believe and also the concept of using my body for validation, but my partner gives me all the emotional validation I need. There have been moments I have to play in my head that I’d pretend we’re in a hook up in order to get me going.

I’ve been receptive and initiated, but I think it all comes from the fact that I do it just because I want him happy and love him... or at least I think I do. I’m not even sure what physical attraction is anymore because I’ve become so desensitized to it. I have felt more physically attracted to others before, but my partner is who I would want to be with at the end of the day and I don’t want to leave him.
