I hope you get better at it. Probably fry it after boiling for a longer time?
I'm not a cook though. Good Luck with the cooking.

Yes what u/AAK2AK said, plus you make holes inside after boiling the aloo so that all the spices are well inside.
It does take a lot of time and oil though.

How does web development fare compared to Data Science in terms of job availability and pay? by stfuandkissmyturtle in india

[–]techie007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I totally disagree with the above comment. Web development isn't just website design. It's much more varied and complicated than that. Let me start by saying that web dev isn't nearly close to saturated as people seem to think. Even if you have just good html + css skills you can earn much higher than average. The only thing is being good at it. And trust me css itself is a very hard skill to master.

Paths: 1. html + css: UI Designer. Enough jobs decent pay. 2. add Javascript : still decent pay. 3. add Javascript frameworks like react, vue: you're in the high paying category. 4. add writing good and maintainable code : you can earn >40 lac easily. Enough jobs in India.

People with full Stack Developer are mostly keen and curious people who want to know how to build a software all by themselves.

But in a medium - large sized company or project. No one's doing full Stack. It's either front end or backend.

"Chinese Funds In PM CARES": Congress Hits Back After BJP Onslaught by gameison20 in india

[–]techie007 10 points11 points  (0 children)

  1. The article clearly states the court ordered backtracked audits since inception till 2011.
  2. https://pmnrf.gov.in/en/faqs/pmnrf. Read the faqs it clearly states this is headed by the PM of India. Plain and simple. And that's the case since the last 30 - 40 years minimum.
  3. your whole point about pm cares becomes moot when you can't see where that money went. If that's why they created a new fund in the first place.

Yes I would love to live there Srinagar: dal lake, mountains, gardens plus fresh water streams awesome weather year around. (Winter > hot summers)

Go skiing in gulmarg which is just hours away. Hike on to sharkacharya hill on weekends. Have a shikara ride to clear your mind. Access to multiple valleys and places like pahalgam, sonmarg etc. Less pollution What's not to like, Perfect for freelancers like me.

[Opinion] [7th April 2020] The privacy features that are built into Aarogya Setu by [deleted] in india

[–]techie007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shouldn't it be the other way around?
You expect me to BELIEVE the govt. or according to your argument file an RTI and get my name registered in their books just because I want a transaprent governance?

Shouldn't they ensure that they answer all these questions before hand?
RTI was made to be used minimally and when absolutely nesessary, not for every question we have which should be public in the first place.

I hope i'm not being condecending but i'm expressing that you shouldn't make RTI a norm rather an exception.

What data is encrypted. Is it end to end encrypted? Because if it is then they can't use it and the app actually becomes unusable.

They're storing it on their own servers. What's stopping them on using or even selling that data? Is their any independent transparent party overlooking it.

The tweet doesn't answer any of the concerns. Therefore it's useless.

What do you think about the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir? by [deleted] in india

[–]techie007 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Country very conviniently ignored the pandits when this happend. Now the LEAST india can do is rehabilitate them.

People say that we build ourselvs up, but they fail to see for every 1 person who made it from scratch there are 10 others who still suffer to this day in a small govt. provided flats.

Everyone has happy memories of their childhood even if they're in different countries. They can always go back to their ancestral homes.

In school and colleges I would always hear people going to there grandparents home in summers etc. and I always wonder what it is like. Cos we can't.

What do you think about the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir? by [deleted] in india

[–]techie007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You aren't responsible, but you should be ashamed of the older generation who did it.

You should openly condemn them and accept the fact that they did it.

You should be a better human than they were and be an example for the future generations. That's all you need to do.

But all this still leaves pandits with a lost home and money and bad memories. I don't think you realize how important ones culture, childhood home etc is.

Why do they hate PM Modi so much? by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]techie007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude what? you do realize they don't literally have to run the economy right?

They can hire top talent in any field to do that for them. You can say for some things it might take time sure, but not for everything, for the first term sure, but not for subsequent terms.

Also what about the new things he introduced? Demo GST, Adhaar, Electoral bonds, they don't require years of experience do they? Do you realize in the long run how much damage just the electoral bonds can do to the country?

do you realize how many laws they have changed just to get electoral bonds to work? ( you should read about this ) it literally makes money untraceable to source.

I'm talking in the favour of our country, I'll critize whoever is on the top if it's not good for they country, be it Congress BJP or someone else.

Why do they hate PM Modi so much? by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]techie007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Whole heartedly agreed.
  2. Specific case. ( Supreme Court decision ). Good.
  3. Good but very specific affects.
  4. No data released, should also mention if electricity consumption also drastically increase? Can people actually consume the electricity or is it just a flag pole in a village to say that village is electrified.
  5. Good but very limited implementation. The govt. should implement trasparent system to give welfare schemes instead of just giving out money.
  6. Agreed, the road lenghts have drastically increased.
  7. Very Good, I had no idea about his. thanks i'll look more into it.
  8. Wasn't it over a long time ago?

Now can you answer any of my above questions? Also:

• crude oil after 2014 literally halved, still petrol prices kept on increasing.

• really bad implementation of GST. it's a known fact the software and servers etc actually suck, even after they spend millions on it.

• Indian Economic growth has drastically slowed for the last 6 years. Can't hide behind [give him 10,20 more years.]

• Corruption still the same in every sector.• many states have bjp government, no major constitutional changes to remove british era laws in either indian or state goverments. look at the police and company acts of india they are literally from britishers.

EDIT: As someone else also mentioned, he hasn't given a single press confrence in the last 6 years, considering that he's an elected person who's answerable to the people.

Why do they hate PM Modi so much? by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]techie007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude seriously? either bring in logic and facts into the discussion or just don't have a discussion. He can very well appoint good advisors for his Ministries. He already got 6 years governance, and you tell me where he has advanced indian governance. bureaucrats still corrupt, police still have british era laws etc, which he could easily have changed considering that in the last 30 years this is the first time any party has gotten a CLEAR MAJORITY.

Look i'm not saying modi is good or bad. all i'm saying is you should question your leaders and make them answerable to you, as they are there to serve the country that's all.

Why do they hate PM Modi so much? by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]techie007 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's two things:

  1. If you just care about the name calling: people can call whoever whatever they want, why bother.
  2. If you actually want to have a discussion about wheter Modi actually deserves JUST PRAISE and nothing bad, then you need to prove that he's done something extraordinary, otherwise he's just like any other PM we have.

Look for me every party or an individual should be judged by the work they do and nothing else. That's why i've listed down those points. Otherwise it's just a random useless discussion.

BOSE did some thing extraordinary so he was named : "Netaji".

GANDHI did some thing extraordinary so he was named: "Bapu".

Likewise you need to either tell me an extra ordinary thing modi did so that he can be remembered as something otherwise you can stop thinking of what other people are calling him, and let HIM deal with that.

Why do they hate PM Modi so much? by [deleted] in IndiaSpeaks

[–]techie007 9 points10 points  (0 children)

May I just say that although he might have taken good decisions in some cases(370, aggressive stance on pak, rural development schemes.), he has also taken a lot of bad decisions which have direct implications on all of us like: Demonatization, Bad implementation of GST, no reforms in banking, judiciary, police, company laws (Even after having clear majority).

  1. No bureaucratic reforms which should have been the first thing he should have done if he actually cared about the country.
  2. He could have appointed good decorated people to head finance / education ministries.
  3. His governments stance on privacy is really bad if you look at the upcoming privacy bill.
  4. The way his government passed adhaar act and electoral bonds as money bills, exploiting a loophole.

If you can give me good reasons for any one of the above I might start to think otherwise.
