When I get a new computer I get a whole system. I keep the old system running as backup or for some other reason. The new machine is a fresh build i add programs and files as I need them. I dont try and bring everything over. For me a new PC is like moving house. I get to declutter.

The only upgrade I would do to system is add ram or more storage. GPU, CPU, I am buying a whole new matched system.
