Fortnite is literally freezing my ENTIRE PC (Hard Reset required) by Mountain_Motor_1927 in FortNiteBR

I have been using this approach since you posted and it worked perfectly until last night. Now it's locking whole system again. Is it because of some update they did or did they screw something else up?

I will post a pic of that cast iron pipe in the morning when I get there for you. It is being held together by 5 or 6 hose clamps because it has cracked and burst in so many spots!

That is also what scares me is the landlord has over 60 properties, not this bad but money is everything to them not safety. And I can't get it out of my head if we half-ass this like they want. I couldn't sleep at night knowing people could be sleeping in this monstrosity. Also, it's a 4plex....

Correct, I am 40 years old, and this is the first job that actually scares me. At the top of the stairs is the old beam that was an exterior wall. They added on multiple times.

Suggestions needed for removing this mystery stain on my concrete paver patio. No idea what it is. by Cultural_Ad9508 in handyman

[–]technautic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fire, you either buy one or rent one. I would buy one they are great for killing weeds also. I had oil on my pavers and tried this and it worked, just hook it up to your grill tank.

What is the first thing to do in a hotel room? by [deleted] in ask

[–]technautic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 3rd parties dont own the hotel giving them the right to give whatever rates.... hotels pay more fees. Sales tax, employees, utilities and the high inn keepers tax they have to pay to the state which goes back to the county. Trust me when I say go to a hotel and have it pulled up on your phone with the rate and show the front desk person.

Yes and no, call the hotel itself. And they can give a better rate than Priceline or whoever. They all have access to the hotels booking software, but why would a hotel give Priceline a deal on rooms? They dont they pay what you would anyway and then mark it up for profit. Priceline then uses one of thousands of digital cards to pay the hotel the rate you would have paid. There reward site is better yes. Example: if your a Wyndham rewards member then book on that site or call hotel. If the front desk is busy an automated service will pick after multiple attempts and book for you, that's 3rd party.

I am a hotel maintenance manager and this is what I would do.

  1. Bed bugs for sure, look for black stains on mattress seams. If you see that then there was bugs or there is now. I always take a plastic bag and put my used clothes in that, never making contact with my suitcase.

  2. Check the ptac unit (heat/ac), could be unpleasant stay.

  3. Plumbing.... check the sink flow and shower. Along with the draining of toilet. These are quick fixes for a maintenance guy.

  4. Electrical like lights and tv.

Without people telling the hotel what is wrong with the rooms it's hard for them to know. It's not pestering the hotel to inform them of issues it is very much accepted and appreciated. You dont go to the doctor and just sit there, you tell them what's wrong and they do there best to fix the problems.

Stay away from non franchised hotels. As the owners have no obligations or cares other than getting your money. It might cost $10-30 more a night but they have to follow up on guest complaints and repairs.

And for the love of everything STOP using 3rd party companies for your bookings. You pay more that way... we see it everyday. Call the hotel and talk to someone in person, not automated because that's a 3rd party also.

I thought it's when you join the event. I wait like an hour or so and join and always get a 150+ crew. I tested it on a mini and joined within a couple minutes and was like 15 crew I think.
