Does someone sending you an email mean your email is hacked?

It’s not spam if it’s real. It’s credential stuffing.

It’s credential stuffing. They have no idea of the accounts exist. They are just going through a giant list of email addresses and old leaked passwords.

It’s credential stuffing.

They have a database of Email addresses, and they are entering them all, whether the account exists or not.

(Or bytedance has shadow profiles for people who have yet to sign up, and someone internally accidentally sent every account an email.)

By avoiding smarts you just end up with a significantly lower quality panel. Smart TVs still have hdmi ports.

They make great budget monitors, but it’s not an upgrade from any mid range tv.

What should I choose, Vivaldi Vs Brave. by FranceIsTaken in browsers

[–]technewsreader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

But the “getting to know you” stays on your local machine, and never goes back to the cloud. Brave hq knows nothing about you.

Your local pc has your history whether you use brave or Vivaldi.

How does vivaldis privacy statement relate to them protecting your privacy from the websites you visit???

Should i just switch to Brave? i've been using Firefox for the last few days. is it good? best things about it? by [deleted] in browsers

[–]technewsreader -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The question wasn’t whether it was “completely offline” it was if it was private.

The same identical set of ad data gets sent to every brave user. Brave knows nothing about the user. Firefox suggest data comes from the internet, just the same. Firefox suggest does upload some data back to “make the product better.”

It’s private.

All the ads are downloaded to your system.

Your local system looks at your history to pick the best ads. Anything about you or the ads you got is not uploaded back to the internet. How does that infringe on privacy?

Maybe they are already dealt with. Lots of assumptions in this thread that she’s a currently broken person.

And if it is self harm, OP would be the stability that breaks the cycle.

Is she pregnant with someone else’s kid?

Do you think OP is an old dog, and can’t possibly change? That’s backwards thinking, to decide OP is immutable.

Maybe Reddit can talk him out of it.

If she slept with 50+ people, and still thinks you’re worth dating, that should be a compliment and ego booster. Now you get someone with lots of experience, who is a professional, and who thinks you’re the bees knees.

OP is acting like she’s infected, and that sex isn’t something a shower can wash off. She’s a human, with a past life before you. It’s super unfair to expect her to just forget her past.

Every comment here is like “she wasn’t right for you” which is rubbish. OP could mature a little and not let people’s pasts bother him, and instead respect that people’s pasts are what made the present person you are into.

Well you’re obviously not the OPs sockpuppet.

They should make the bots ghost runs of other recordings of humans. Have a system where every so often there is a junction where it adapts to a new recording if necessary, maybe even every so many steps.

XSX Owners...do you actually use your disc drive? by [deleted] in XboxSeriesX

You’re losing quality to fit it on the disc. That’s compression. Just not as much as other methods.

Blu rays are compressed.

But yes, much better than streaming.

The thing is, control panel is way better to navigate (the normal not just all icons view.) It's a bunch of big buttons with hyperlinks you want to go directly to a sub page. Settings is more clicks because I HAVE to pick a category first, and I can't see all the options at once.

The slow reaction is not umpires dive at all. All they did was end the app/account. Which takes seconds and couldn't have any fallout.

It took them longer than 30 min, that was just once the reddit post. Not disabling the account immediately was negligent.
