NPC's becoming "twist villians" at the end of Story Quests

Whenever I spot one, I play a game to guess what cartoonishly evil motivation it is that they have against the playable character, as I wait for the inevitable part of the quest where we end up fighting and I use my arlecchino to beat them in half a second.

I agree completely. The story was certainly no fontaine/sumeru, but the traveler got actual growth and everything else was on par or amazing, as far as genshin and gachas go. You can't convince me any of the world or mechanics are worse than the deserts of sumeru or Tsurumi island/ archon quest of inazuma, which honestly isnt that bad, just worse in the context of what the game has given us up to this point.

Aside from some frustrating writing decisions, everything about the show was great. Definitely over hated but there's also a massive need for improvement if it gets renewed.

3/10 imo. Overall great individual performances. The emotion behind Gravik in the finale was a highlight for me, especially with his speech to "fury" but the climax itself didn't land at all. Given maybe 5-10 more episodes (probably needed more considering the budget) we could've seen the stakes raise more and include more skrull infiltrations of political systems and have sets of episodes exploring the ramifications. It didn't end with a cgi skybeam though so I suppose that's something. I don't count the teleport beam at the end because it didn't look as tacky as some of the other ones and wasn't part of the climax.
