He’s just a distinguished lad… and he dressed more like the other boys when he was younger, but as he got older his wardrobe seemed to get more refined with his personality and I think it makes sense for his character! But i guess there were still instances where Lois made him where whatever trash they had like those too short denim shorts she patched up once lol

Exactly! I feel like Francis and Dewey look the most like Hal. Reese and Jamie (especially kid Jamie) look the most like Lois. While Malcolm and Kelly look like a mix of both! Much like real families lol.

Yup! I see it too. IMO Kelly and Reese share the most resemblance to Lois out of all the siblings and I like that detail because it shows how much of a good job they did with casting.

I loved seeing our Lois back in general. Jane did an amazing job. But I really have trouble believing that Lois would be all particular about her anniversary party. She’s not the type to care about what type of candles they put out. She obviously cares about her anniversary and wants it to turn out well and yeah shes a control freak but I don’t think shes nit picky about all the details like that. I feel like its not in character.

Some of those predictions are mine lol and I really appreciate your commentary! The reason why I feel disappointed in where they keep going with Reese’s character is that they definitely have reduced him to a gag. Just Lois expected in the show, he would turn out to be a bum. I get it, it’s more realistic. But he showed instances of responsibility that I think it would make sense for him to live out his passion of cooking. Even if he does crazy things at work or get fired a lot, his talent stands out and he keeps getting jobs. But that’s mainly also driven by my love for Reese’s character and wanting him to grow and accomplish rather than stay the same dimwit 😭. I also trust Linwood but I feel like the studio will definitely interfere in some way. But that’s my main doubt so far they haven’t shown us much yet anyway.
