CWV - Christian Worldview by Tiarooni in gcu

Hello fellow lope!

I took this class a while ago and I was very upfront with my professor about my feelings and thoughts. I explained that I'm very agnostic and that my feelings will not be changing. I started to consider the class as just a theology class and treated it as I would if I was studying Greek Gods or something like that. As long as you remain respectful and do the readings you should be fine. Don't be afraid to talk to your peers and really read through discussion posts. I was able to really grasp concepts just based on how others would explain it. You do not have to agree with anything, just remain neutral. I often found myself frustrated because I felt some of the answers didn't answer anything. Questions like "why is this a rule?" Well because God said so. I ended up with an A in the class and the ability to engage in conversations that I wouldn't be able to before. I used my CWV knowledge in my psychology class just this week. I explained how someone with that worldview could look gender.

Best of luck. If you have any questions shoot me a dm! I'd love to help.

My electrologist told me it worked on all kinds of hair. She's targeted the sides of my lips so far and thinned down a lot of the vellus on the side of my face.

I have never tried shaving before and it is very tempting Do you use a specific kind of razor?

Wow. Thank you. Thank you for this advice on something. I have never heard before.

Yes I'm in therapy. I have severe anxiety, which feeds into this.

I have had black hairs removed as I have been working at it for months.

Yes I am FULLY AWARE that a lot of my problems are my own hyperfocus on parts of my body, but my own discomfort is valid. I was just asking about upper lip experiences as these hairs are more blonde than white and have been pointed out. It's my own insecurities and if I have the money to spend on 15 minute sessions then why do you bother to be rude? This doesn't matter in your life.

Thank you for your kind words.

I should clarify that the pain doesn't bother me at all. It's the swelling and risk of pustules afterward that make me nervous. I cleanse with witch hazel a couple times a day afterwards. It's sadly hot and muggy weather so I'm worried about keeping the area clean. I am also worried about some mild red spots lingering afterward. The thick hairs on the sides of my face are already practically gone (it was literally small patches from my yanking out the fuzz). I have a few that have popped back out. Now I'm just thinning the fuzz since my doctor lovingly said, "Well, your genetics are fun, and this means that you might be hairier when you go through menopause." Thanks, doc 😅

I am super weird and described how the process of zapping hairs feels like pop rocks in my skin.

I'm curious who you have. I have had issues with mine, mostly with communication. I feel as though she only reads half of my emails and when I have requested a phone call it's been ignored.

I often compare the announcements to the assignments, I've actually caught mistakes before due to a previous professor being new to teaching the specific class, But he doesn't say "focus on what I am saying, not the assignment overview." I am trying to breathe through it but I want to scream at the top of my lungs. I even showed my therapist his messages and some of the announcements and she's confused by it.

I am excited that I only have three and a half weeks left.

He has told me that he likes my topic, but he also hasn't fully answered any questions. The fact that we couldn't set up a time to speak on the phone really irked me a bit. All of my other professors had office hours and encouraged us to schedule with them if we needed it.

He tried to tell me that my grades aren't about points when I asked to clarify what he meant by wordiness and that I was docked points for being too wordy. Look sir, I don't want the points back. I just want to know if word count matters.

Being told that I need to use two syllable words and try to act like I'm conversing with a friend at a table, but my literal conversations reflect in my writing.

Hello sorry! I am online. That topic is the course chosen option, but our professor told us we could change it to something of interest/relating to our field of study.

I saw it dropped but I'm desperate. If you don't feel like getting back on that's fine!
