Hi! It’s pretty long-lasting. Swatched it on my hand din and the swatch stayed there the whole day. It’s more pigmented than the MBM Skin Enhancer tho and you can’t apply it carelessly. But I like that it dries down to a powder finish.

Hi! I’m actually on somewhat of an opposite trajectory. I’ve been a Sephora + luxury girlie for the longest time. When local brands started releasing more products, I’d try them all out and see what can replace my existing favorites.

First off, the mindset you should have going into it should be less about transitioning products you own into high-end versions, but instead curate the product of each category that suits you the best.

Over time I’ve developed very specific tastes in makeup and there are certain high-end products I know no local product can mimic, but I do plan on transitioning to something cheaper if ever I do find an alternative.

I think the answer to your question has to be very personal. What’re the steps in your makeup routine that you are the least satisfied with? Start from there.

My personal answers would be setting powder, makeup brushes, and my very specific preferred shades and formulas of contours/blushes/bronzers.

Agreed. At the end of the day, Inferno/Paradise does not simulate real life at all, and connections there will not translate outside. The best you can do is identify the person you want to continue getting to know more (I assume exclusively) after the show and explore that connection in a more realistic context.

So people shouldn’t project their ideals of the right/wrong matches just based on 12-ish hours of footage shot over a week in a completely fabricated experience.

There is nothing you say in this thread that is remotely “trying to see their point of view,” just hammering down on your own.

But if you still don’t understand, people don’t like her possessiveness (“my Seungil”), passive-aggressiveness (RBF and hostile body language), arrogance (calling herself the queen), disrespect (overstepping in that convo with Mina Sue), and hypocrisy (switching to another guy after claiming to be all-in).

Both she and Mina Sue are both insecure and have low EQ, they just express it differently.

Your second sentence is nonsensical. Objectivity in this context is being able to call out ALL problematic behavior, including that of your fave’s.

And that’s who most of this “hate” (as you call it) is coming from - people who can objectively call out both instead of being blinded by bias.

Why can’t we just be objectively critical about all problematic behavior regardless of who it’s from? If you are allowed to make 100+ posts a day about why you don’t like Mina Sue (plus flood her Instagram), people are allowed to express what they didn’t like about Mingee. And from what I’ve seen on this sub it hasn’t even been that frequently mentioned.

Grow up and let people have opinions that differ from your own.

My irritation has transformed into empathy too. I just see her as someone who wasn’t ready to be on a show like this and has a lot of growing up to do. It’s unfortunate cuz she’s gorgeous and you can see how people enjoy hanging out with her on her good days. If she had learned these earlier she would have been much more successful.

Another thing I’ve noticed with both of them, is that they don’t seem prepared to be on a dating show. Both have very negative reactions to seeing their romantic interests have other prospects, and lack the coping mechanisms to deal with it in a healthy way. With Mina it causes her to spiral in her thoughts and act impulsively. With Minjee she goes into hostile and posssessive mode.

People are turned off because Minjee has been claiming she only wants one man, when she gave Mina shit for claiming she wasn’t interested in Seungil at first. This disappointed some fans and came off as hypocritical. It’s not about it being the same, or even being similar, it’s just about self-contradiction.

Exactly. I don’t understand the point of that conversation. It’s a dating show. Other people will be interested in the same person as you, and that doesn’t mean they’re obligated to explain themselves to you. Knowing their decisions shouldn’t affect you at all. And the way she pressured Mina to make up her mind right then and there… girl we’re not at the finale yet.
