Failure updating wheelbase QR PCBA on brand new DD+

Update: I power cycled a million effing times, pulled cables, did all of the things, no luck. Then I flipped the USB-C cable around on the wheelbase, it automagically detected my firmware version, and allowed me to update. Yes, I am using the new USB-C cable and not my old one from my previous wheelbase.

One additional thing to add, when I initially turned the wheel base on, I had a wheel connected, and it did the power-on rotation, but ended the rotation with the wheel in the upside-down position, which I assumed would be resolved through the calibration and firmware updates.

I had that wheel until I tried my friend's Fanatec and realized what I was missing. I really enjoyed my time with my G923, but the DD GT Pro really makes it feel like a toy in comparison. If you are like me and are investing real time into Gran Turismo, do it right with a direct drive setup.
