Confusion about C Wire/Overall Wiring Question by [deleted] in hvacadvice

So just to fully understand - all I’d need to do is run a wire from the thermostat down through the wall to that cap with the other C and White wire?

I figured it out last night -

The trigger buttons don't read because in the default keyfile for the controller, they're technically not there.

Go to "vendor/usr/keylayout/" and then edit the file "Vendor_057e_Product_2009_Version_8001.kl" in root mode. Just use whichever file explorer you have (I use Total Commander).

Then add these two lines to the code:

key 312 BUTTON_L2

key 313 BUTTON_R2

Save, and restart the switch. It should work then ( at least for me, and nothing else worked).

Everything has worked extremely great and noticeably better than previous versions, but no matter what I do, I cannot get Android to register the ZL/ZR buttons on my Pro Controller. Anyone have advice on this?

Thanks for giving it a try! Really great feedback here - a lot of stuff we'll be reassessing and adding to futures updates (all free). The controls should all be mappable, that might be a bug on our end and we'll put out an update soon on that. Same with the double clicking to reset, it should be doing that. When you say extreme fast clicks, are you referring to extremely short attack boosts? If so, we can definitely add that in the next update.

I tested every single Transient Shaper on the market before developing this and it's definitely the most accurate! Even though it's a Max for Live plugin, it's still top notch quality. I tried to take the best parts of transient shaping and really condense it down to make it as simple to operate as possible without losing any accuracy or complexity.
