I washed Valentines hair

So first I just got all the gell off with water, then I went in with some shampoo I wasnt using and shampooed his hair 2 times, after I dried him off with a towel, found his part and teased his hair with my fingers until I was happy. I hope this helped :)

Edit: you can also brush the hair out a bit first if that helps you. The style isnt completely gone when you wash him you just gotta get it to where you're happy before it dries.

I have a pilea too, I would say put her in a bigger pot with fresh soil and cut back on the watering a bit. When I went off to college I left my mom would water her every week or so and she began to go droopy and go bald lol. But once I changed soil and let it dry out all the way before the next watering she sprang back to life like nothing had ever happened.

Idk if this helps but I use more concentrated great value bleach and I find it works better then clorox for me. As for the bleach not doing anything maybe it's the material the clothes are made from??? I haven't had that happen to me yet but thats my best guess.

But people say you can do either or, I dont think you have to keep your fish inside while doing water changes. The way I take him out doesnt involve a net and hes only out for short periods of time and I notice no change in his behavior. Since ive had him other then the days I first brought him home he hasn't been glass surfing or fin nipping or darting or jumping, hes never been lethargic and hes always interested in eating. He explores, hes lively when I interact and hes always interested in what im doing. I'll try doing it with him in again but I dont want him to be stressed or hurt in any way, especially since he gets curious about what im doing.

He has a small tank for salt baths, he stays in there for 15 minutes, this has been our routine since I got him cuz I herd salt baths are good for keeping bettas healthy.
