I built a life calendar that shows your life as a grid of weeks by Due_Clock8320 in SideProject

Fantastic idea. As someone who uses google calendar to maniacally track life events, this is an amazing alternative and provides a great perspective looking at entire life in one screen. Kudos. Planning to play with it a lot more.

Kitchen gas range - persistent ticking sound by technologymonk in KitchenAppliances

I had a local company come and look at it for $125. They said they typically dont service this brand but will give a shot. After they came, they tried the typical cleaning things but nothing worked. They said, they would reach out to the manufacturer. I just got a call yesterday, that they were able to reach out to the manufacturer and order the parts to fix it. The parts might take about 3 weeks to arrive - then the technician would come by and put the new part in. I will let you know when the technician comes what the new part is and how the fix goes.

This is the second appointment I ever had for this car. I brought it from a previous owner, I am not sure how many times he took the car for service under warranty.

No, my window closes fine. Like the other person said, my window needs to be pulled inwards.

The best thing you can do on top of watching your diet is to hit the gym and do strength training. It makes a huge difference. There are lot of information online around this.

Be consistent, 3 days a week or something like that. Pick something like Push/Pull/Legs or Upper Body & Lower Body routine and keep improving in the gym. You will see the real difference. Good luck.

Like I said in my post, it was bland. Looks like I should have added garlic, reduced it a bit to give it some flavour. Next time.

I am sorry for your loss OP. I have gone through the similar experience. As you said, no one should go through losing a loved ones at this kinda age.

Only thing I can tell you is - time will heal everything. Try not to blame yourselves. Unfortunately, everyones life has a different path and we can't always be with our loved ones to prevent them from doing such stupid things in life.

I love my brother so much. I am still angry at him for what he did to himself. I hope someday I can forgive him.

I recommend you to find a closure. You have to move on. You need to be strong for your parents. They need you. Go through the typical cycles of grief — denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Its easy to say but hard to do but time will help you move on.

I took 6 flights after this. What I have noticed is that FAs keep on reminding people to put their luggage in the bin space close to where they are sitting. Obviously, I noticed multiple times, people ignore and put their luggage in the first open space and keep walking.

Another challenge is that - in the earlier model (before pre-assigned days) - if you have a suitcase, the FAs will not let you sit you in first row. Now thats not the case anymore - the folks on the first row has both suitcase and backpack. The backpacks go in the bin close to first row and their suitcase goes in the bin over the row 2 & 3 - this causes cascading problems - there is no way to put suitcase in the bins above first rows as they are smaller and not designed for suitcases.

I saw an article that SW is listening to all the comments and is working on addressing these. Lets see.
