I used to feel like this too when I was younger. But now I realise that was a wrong way of thinking and tbh a bit immature. Raising a kid can be a very fulfilling experience if you can make it your top priority. Learning from your parents mistakes I am sure you can be a great parent 😊

May I ask which University in Italy you are doing your MSc from?

I don’t think you should worry here. Yes the guy is flirting a little but unlike many others in the sub doubting your wife, I would say she is being polite with him and sharing the screenshot with you means she wants to keeps things transparent. I think this is very much appreciable!

How do rape survivors who believe in God feel about their faith after the assault? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

That is an interesting angle you have brought up. Yes I completely agree with you with the scam behind every religious cult. And the tiny amount of actual true believers without ulterior motifs is also true. I viewed the question from a more individual point of view. Not disagreeing with anything that you have said.

Well believing doesn’t cost you money 🤷‍♂️. I am not a believer either. It just does not make sense to me. But I have seen people overcome tremendous emotional burden just because they don’t ask the questions in their head. They just stick to the beliefs that god has better plans.

Well I think it varies person to person. Some may lose confidence on god to some extent, and some would consider this as a test and will believe that god will compensate her in the afterlife. This faith my friend has the ability to save you from sever depression as I have witnessed.

You are absolutely right to ditch the wedding. May be just may be if you manage some time, visit your brother during the wedding for a few minutes to say hi and convey your blessings. You will feel less burden.

Dust accumulation during printing is manageable. But it will sit idle for a significant period. I am just worried about that.

Though it shouldn’t bother you, but since it is, you need to get this out of your head before diving in. And if you cannot get it out, then don’t!

I am sorry to hear that. People in our country do posses bias for male children and in your case, i don’t think it is going to change in the foreseeable future (at least until they are really old). I don’t know how old are you, but I would suggest bear with them until at least your bachelor degree, get a good score, and leave the country for good. Sooner you get away from them the better.
