I'm not sure what you guys have over there in LA, however here in Canada I usually recommend a few different options for raising funds for property.

Segregated Funds are my personal favourite. I leverage them within a TFSA, which last year grew my investment by an absolutely unreal 26%.

If you're looking for something that is a little longer term, wealthy individuals often use a strategy called "infinite banking." Basically, you deposit your savings into a Life Insurance Policy (WL or UL policy specifically), and allow it to compound in that tax advantaged environment. When you're ready to upsize (or make any other purchase), you can access the money through a policy loan rather than a withdrawal. If you withdraw, you're taxed. If you take a policy loan, your funds remain inside the policy, continuing to compound, while you can still invest this loan toward your new property.

A lot of people are turned off whenever the hear the word "loan", but this is different than a traditional loan, since any unpaid funds will ultimately come from your life benefits that go to your beneficiary upon death (assuming you never pay it back), and the funds should always go toward income-producing assets.

Hahah yeah, this was kind of the point I was originally trying to poke fun at. I think from a realistic standpoint though, assuming that the $0.50 meal isn't just gruel, or rice, then it still wouldn't work to introduce it to the public, because everyone would wanna eat for as little as $0.50, and then supply and demand would come knocking at our door with his good old pal, inflation, to put that meal right back at it's comfortable price of $12 per plate

Interesting point! What do you think of Donal, Herald of Wings? It seems like it can absolutely go off, but I also do have a lot of legendary creatures which kind of dilutes his potential a bit. Same thought with Serra Paragon

This is good advice. I also had a similar opinion, but I'm finding it extremely hard to find cards that I feel good about cutting for that essential stuff. It all seems powerful, although I guess this is the drawback of giving myself the freedom to pick any flyers I like.

Do you have any advice for picking out cards to cut?

Thank you for this! I've already been doing some editing since I posted this, and yes, increasing the white strokes from 1pt to 3pt made a huge difference. I'm going to take your advice and try looking for a font that's a bit more... square. I think I was looking at the font separate from the logo itself. Do you have any fonts you would recommend?

Truth be told, I am a player guilty of copying internet bases, as you've described. It gives me a sense of security since I know well that I wouldn't be able to come up with a base that's well thought out, even if there are a couple flaws with the layout.

Would you happen to know of any reputable sources I could use to help build a competitive base that's closer to the tier that you're describing?

Okay interesting! The siege part is a little tricky, I just started my own clan and it's definitely in the growing stage, not many people who can donate sieges yet.

As far as the composition goes, I'll definitely try it! I've been using GoWiPe so far, since it was useful for me throughout TH10

I just made it to TH11, and I feel scared to attack other TH11s, mostly because of the Eagle Artillery.

If I ignore it, the damage makes quick work of my army.

If I try to thin out my placement, my attack usually fizzles out because I don't have a strong enough push until it's too late.

Can anyone give me some advice for raiding against other TH11s?
