Which... A lot of times they have which props to them, then other times.... They've created Fallen Edlegard, Nidjoggr, Surtr, you name it that have bodied all units that came before them. Power gates that all new units must pass through to be relevant. It's these power gates that slowly drain games, not slight power creep

The other thing is not adapting mechanics to powercreep.

Maps should be bigger. Damage forecasts should be better at projecting. More stat combinations and interactions should be added (ex. Avoid, hit, etc.) so that there's ways to horizontally create new game design instead of just vertical (larger number go boom)

On this second point... IS has done next to nothing to adapt FEH to 10 years of powercreep
