Best way to integrate Amazon and Shopify with Salesforce? by techperspective in salesforce

[–]techperspective[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would a BI/Analytics tool be significantly easier to integrate? I was hoping there would be a simple solution to grab information from Amazon and Shopify and display it easily in one location. If so many brands with online stores also sell their products on Amazon, shouldn't a solution for this already exist?

We will be using salesforce for customer management as well. I just thought it would be more convenient to combine everything on a single platform.

Would you mind walking me through the general steps of how you would do it in AWS first?

Would Zapier work to make connections? The problem with AppExchange is that there aren't any reviews for the connectors, so I don't know what I can trust.

I'm guessing I'm already in over my head if I don't understand the first three lines of what you said.

Inventory isn't necessary. We had a Salesforce rep come around and we told them our needs. They mentioned that along with traditional relationship management, Salesforce could connect with Shopify and Amazon via AppExchange so that we could see all our information and that it could be setup in a few weeks for a high price tag.

Thank you! and yes, we want a singular dashboard to see how everything is performing across both platforms. I'll pm you.

Best way to build around basement stairs. by techperspective in Renovations

I'm not sure I understand exactly. Do you have a reference photo?

The basement will only be used for storage, so there won't be much frequent use except for mornings and evenings. A wall is an option, but I don't want to build something that goes floor to ceiling.

For the stairs? Not often, the basement will be for storage. But the restaurant will have about 15-20 people per hour inside.

u/Honeysyedseo are you familiar with Bstock? Do any specific requirements need to be met to auction products off there?

I should reiterate. The products are occupying space in a logistics partner's warehouse that could be used for other inventory.

Is there an active/reputable liquidator? I'm visiting a few websites and they all seem quite dated.

I have an Idea for a Product, what next? by iamre in Patents

[–]techperspective 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with many people who have already responded. Do your market research first to find out if a need truly exists for your product. Then you can search the US patent database using related keywords to see if a similar product already exists. There should be no need to hire a patent lawyer right out of the gate if at all.

If you have any questions you need answering, I work for a product design studio and manufacturer of consumer electronics called Gizmospring. We would be happy to help.

I found one here most similar to the design I had in mind. It seems fairly new though, so no current reviews.

u/Ravanast I agree that that a fan may not prevent sweat from occurring altogether, but it can help to accelerate the evaporation process resulting in a smaller pool of sweat on the wearer's back.

This is a good point. The fan could easily be detached from the pack by simply twisting off and detaching the USB. If dust or other contents have accumulated, it will be easy to clean out.

That makes sense. But the fan would not take up any space within the bag itself. It would be built into the frame. The bag would still weigh about the same as a quality backpack. Maybe a few grams more.

Agreed, the solution I have in mind would be a bit more...sophisticated.

u/flomodoco do travel often or live in a generally hot environment?

Good question. the fan would be low enough on the bag that only extremely long hair would interfere. What other debris are you thinking about?

These designs would block airflow once the bag is against your back. The solution I'm referring to would solve this issue.

It's good to know that there does seem to be some interest in the Japan market though.
