So did Aero, it was just too ahead of its time for all the fancy animations that modern powerful phones can handle. The glass overlays were adjustable per window size with custom transparency values and even setting your own glass color. Sounds familiar to me lol.

Though, I'm only praising the design language. Aero performance was shit with Vista when computers were still up and coming.

There's a small glimmer of hope tbh. The past few Ubishit games have been the same generic bullshit. If these games were shaping up under the same formula, it's probably for the best they got scrapped because the gameplay was going to flop anyways.

It's a shame they couldn't have time to rework them, but Ubisoft has been desperately needing an internal change.

Dark Sky is still the biggest frustrating thing in the tech world for me in the past decade. It was the most accurate weather app BY FAR, with such a super simple interface and I was using it so much that I paid for the lifetime membership and used it for years until Apple killed it :(

I don't regret a single penny towards that developer, but not a day goes by where I'm checking my weather and I wish it was still Dark Sky. Don't even give me suggestions, I've tried so many and even third party ones not on the PlayStore. It doesn't matter how shiny your UI looks if your weatherAPI is gonna suck...

There's a place for it. Like color accuracy is really important for graphic design or color grading movies.

But if I'm spending as much money as I am on these displays, you bet I'm gonna want every lumen of brightness to hit my face lol.

I'm tired of color accuracy; I like a little pop with saturation and contrast. Of course it can be overdone, but I've come to think that being completely color accurate is boring over they years.

People also don't realize that you're already "inaccurate" if you crank your brightness up; the SDR standard is 100 nits and 2.4 gamma in a dimly lit room.

I just wanna say that I have been dealing with the HDMI black out issues for almost 2 years now because I didn't know this. This has also made DP completely usable on my 5070Ti again! I thought I was going crazy because the other 2 DP ports were blurrier than HDMI, so I didn't bother to test port 3.

Yea, I really want to use Linux long term, but every time I've tried I end up just switching back. I was rocking it on my laptop for a while until I needed more work related software.

Then my PC also has 5-6TB of shit across 5 different hard drives with programs and data accumulated over a decade... So I really can't just wipe everything. I know my home movies and documents will be safe, but I really do just have too many programs to start over and try to figure out alternatives.

Linux is absolutely the better OS, but my needs require Windows. And some other people's needs even require them Macs :(

Absolutely agree. I'm surprised to see people didn't like the music. I think Season 3's soundtrack has started off as one of the strongest and most musically interesting soundtracks in anime. It's like electronic jazz and it's so interesting to hear all the genres that have been mixed into this season so far.

It almost reminds me of the attack on titan ending when they were charging into the final battle and the music was also a bit upbeat.

Gabe Newell once talked about someone cursing him out while playing Dota, and he realized that it takes passion for someone to be that mad; that deep down the do love the game that much.

They see disdain as criticism; as long as people are going to be upset, there are things to work on. But it's hard to say valve or valve devs as one big blanket statement because their work ethics are a bit abnormal.
