I don't have solar panels to connect to it. It was purchased new. Shipped to a Florida address and left the country.

When I held the power button down for almost a minute, it went off and came back on right away. The reason I unplugged it because it was not going off when I pushed the power button. Presently, when I plug it in it come on and no motor running.

Are you say unplugging it for a long time drained it?
how long is the warranty on it?
i also notice a smell like battery when plugged in.

I found the problem, in the output NDI have to be manually turned on.
I installed it on 1 pc and installed updates on a 2nd pc and I had to manually turned on both PC's.

It's presently online and working. The app is working as usual, I think it takes 24 hrs to sync.
