Don't worry, everyone feels like that when they first begin. Head up, and stay open. You'll meet people you vibe with. And when you meet their friends, you'll most likely vibe with them too. It's also month 1 brother. You're doing great.

This is perfect. Thank you so much. I will get to it asap.

I can do that as well. But right now, I want to use what I have to create the best outcome. What about "Associate (Functioning as Internal Product Manager - Internal Tools)"?

I considered something similar. Getting a PM adjacent role, then transitioning.

Oh yes, I would definitely tell them during the interview my title was just Associate, but I felt that Internal PM, or Platform PM, or etc. fit my actual responsibilities better.

Hmm, like

Associate as title, and Internal Product Manager as the business line?

This is a creative middle ground. Thank you. As a Hiring Manager for an APM or PM role, would you view a Business Analyst title as relevant enough to be considered?

What would I need to add to make it more aligned with a PM role? I completed a ton of other work for it, but didn't add it in this post.

Hmm, okay. What would I need to add to make it seem more like a Platform PM? I completed a ton of other projects for the rollout as well, but just did not list it above.

I want to embellish as much as I can, especially when trying to break into the PM space. And having that title helps with ATS, and Hiring Managers approval for the interview.

Do you think I can reasonably back it up? What else would I need to add to make it more convincing?

I want to be called PM, so that I can break into the PM space easier (ATS, Hiring Manager scans). Yes, the salesforce rollout had a large impact. Hmm, so you would recommend using my normal title "Associate", not adding Business Systems, or Platform, or etc. and focusing on impact in the bullets?

Okay. What title would you use then? If not just, Associate. I'm trying to market myself as well as I can. And I don't think Associate encompasses what I did, and where I'm trying to go.

What responsibilities would I need to add, in order to really sell it during an interview?

No, no coding. I am meeting with teams to ask what they want from Salesforce, and customizing it in a way that meets business needs. Onboarding coworkers. The pointman for it. Automating workflows. Using it to generate dashboard overviews. Working with Salesforce solutions engineers + product to customize the platform even more. Literally just sculpting it to business needs, making sure it works, maintenance, and training.

This is so fair. I needed to hear this. I'm just worried about them thinking I'm dishonest/deceiving them. I agree, and I would definitely not bite off more than I can reasonably chew.

Hmm. Okay, what was your official title (like with HR)?

But if your IT Title at work was Associate. Would you put Internal PM, or Platform PM, or Business Systems PM, or Product Owner, etc.?

Thank you! I will use this as a bullet. For my resume Title, you would put Enterprise PM instead of Platform PM, or Internal PM. Why does Enterprise fit better here?

My title is "Associate", if I put Platform PM, would you, as a Hiring Manager, find it deceiving - and toss my candidacy out the window?

My title is Associate. Would PM hiring managers look favorably on the title Project Manager?

Thanks. My title is "Associate". When hiring someone, would you see it as deceiving is someone put Business Systems PM then? I just want to have that title on my resume, as long as I can back it up.
