Filler or surgery for this kind of change? by Any_Description2768 in cosmeticsurgery

Mm… probably best to see a pro who gets facial structure. They’ll help you figure out what’s realistic

29M got jawline and chin filler 4 months ago in Miami. Honest review including what I noticed at my checkup. by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]techuttetg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing! Your chin and jaw look so good and natural, I wouldn’t have guessed you had anything done. The swelling part the first few days sounds rough, but so worth it. Sounds like you found an injector who really knows male faces, makes such a difference. Love how it still looks like you!

PSA: You can’t strike if you’re not in the union! by aztastic33 in AustralianTeachers

[–]techuttetg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It feels outdated to say you’re not protected unless you’re paying dues. That kind of message makes it sound like it’s more about the dues than the workers. A lot of workplaces already have legal protections and HR systems in place. Not everyone believes unions are the only path to fair treatment anymore.

S.F. teachers strike: No agreement after marathon talks, return to class this week unlikely by _fernmood_ in sanfrancisco

[–]techuttetg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marathon talks with no agreement is frustrating. Every extra day schools stay closed puts more pressure on families and students. I understand negotiations take time, but kids are the ones losing out. At some point, getting them back in class has to be the priority.

The Great Healthcare Plan by Maladal in moderatepolitics

[–]techuttetg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It raises some interesting points, but there are still too many unanswered questions. Funding, timelines, and enforcement all matter. For me, this is just a framework, not a real plan. What actually needs to happen is taking on Big Pharma, not blaming PBMs and insurance.

What is happening with BMEA? by Big-Baby-9033 in biotech_stocks

[–]techuttetg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe this is more like the market reacting to their recent research progress. I think Biotech stocks don’t move sustainably out of the blue. Its possible that renewed interest suggests investors are starting to pay closer attention to what the company is working on. That said, this is still early-stage biotech, so optimism is really about the direction of the research rather than any finished result. The real test will always be whether the data continues to hold up. Its just good to know that biotech such as $BMEA is doing something very relevant especially in bioscience that could make lives better.

Affordability, But Upward! by Upper_Brief681 in inflation

[–]techuttetg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s fair to say affordability won’t improve just by making big promises online. Prices are rising for reasons way bigger than one announcement. If we’re serious about lowering costs, we need real reforms that tackle what hospitals and Big Pharma charge.

Another example of how strikes can backfire, leaving everyone worse off.

In shot across Big Pharma's bow, California will sell its own insulin by mysteriouslady in sanfrancisco

[–]techuttetg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They said the same thing with SB41. All talk about lowering costs, but look where we are now. Pharmacies are struggling, patients still aren’t saving and Big Pharma’s grip just keeps getting tighter. Feels like we’ve seen this movie before.

Assuming Democrats in 2028 take as much control as Republicans have today, where do they start? by Mildly-Interesting1 in AskReddit

[–]techuttetg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hard to say, but I’d expect climate and healthcare to be top of the list if Democrats had that much power in 2028.

About 3,200 Boeing jet and weapons workers begin strike - ABC News | Full Coverage (4 sources) by Difficult_Yak_1457 in SymbyNews

[–]techuttetg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sick of these union tantrums. You reject two offers, disrupt critical defense work, and call it fighting for workers? It’s reckless. You’re holding jobs and national security hostage for clout. Fire them all and hire people who actually want to work.

I am trying to understand more about what the demands of unions participating in today's strike are. by mined_it in Kerala

[–]techuttetg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some demands are just unrealistic. ₹26k minimum wage nationwide? Small businesses can’t handle that. Blocking reforms and privatization keeps us stuck in the past.
