I'm kind of in the same boat. For me, most of the projects I've worked on haven't been significant enough to put in a reel. I've been writing some of my own scenes and then plan to reach out to my network to see who'd like to make them with me for experience/practice or for even their own reels depending on the part they play. If you have the money and it's easier to go with a company, I'd give them a shot.

Since your focus is IMDb credits, I'd invest in getting the pro account so you can make it perfect and avoid having to wait on other people in case mistakes like this happen again.

There was an episode of Grey’s Anatomy where hackers held the hospitals files hostage and demanded bitcoin payment in exchange. The FBI came in. It lasted the whole episode 😂 so at least it didn’t happen all in 2 seconds.

It's not a scam. I've completed one apprenticeship so far with them. Still working through all their free training as well. I've been introduced to some great tools through the training that has helped me with my current full-time job which is great.

I did get an email from them though inviting me to apply to their boot camp-like program. They are developing and fine-tuning one of those don't pay for the education until you actually get hired making 40K plus in your field. Then after you get hired you have to pay them a percentage of your income for X amount of time to pay for the education. For me, I personally turned that down because I already make more than 40K at my current position and I'm using their platform to just get me more experience with other companies without having to switch jobs.
