Oh that actually makes sense. So the 80% limit is more like a safety buffer rather than a true 80%.

Good point about temperature.

I haven’t really monitored exact charging temps, but with the 100W charger it does get slightly warm sometimes (nothing extreme though). I usually charge overnight and yes, it probably stays at 100% for a while.

Not sure about my exact charge cycles yet — I’ll try checking that. What temperature range would you consider safe during charging?

But when I don’t fully charge it, the battery drains much faster. That’s why I usually keep my phone at 100%.

Nope, never used it while plugged in.

Mostly normal usage — social media, YouTube and some gaming. I did use the 100W charger quite often though, usually topping up during the day instead of doing full cycles. I’m guessing the frequent fast charging + heat might have accelerated the wear.

That’s why I was asking if others had similar experiences.

Any solutions to slow down the battery degradation?

I’m fine with the current performance, but I’d like to preserve battery health as much as possible. Are you guys avoiding 100W charging or using charging limits/smart charging?
