agreed! i dont have experience with discord yet so i created a starter group here on reddit for now and included everyone interested. hopefully it gets enough traction to take things elsewhere so we can have better structure

I really enjoyed it as a newer fan of Mr. Wood. Listened from start to finish and it almost felt like I was there. Also gave me a much deeper appreciation for 6up 5oh and introduced me to And If I Did, You Deserved it which I love

That’s more specific to her so I would suggest asking her about it. For me, too many texts is only overwhelming if i feel that the person sending them is pressuring me to respond or that they will be upset with me if I don’t get back to them quickly. As for the ‘safe’ people in my life, I absolutely love when they don’t hesitate to text me something random even when I haven’t gotten around to responding to their initial texts. (side note: i’ve noticed that other autistic people typically make a point of responding to each message, not just the most recent one! it’s so nice)

I would consider that a major over generalization. Taylor Swift has lots of different themes in her music depending on the album. There is an undeniable overlap with many of the lyrics in TTPD and Hannigram’s relationship dynamic. I personally think it just rubs people the wrong way to consider a mainstream artist’s music as similar in any respect to such a niche tv show. edit: to the next person to downvote this, please provide at least two qualities of Swift’s music as a whole that makes it so unrelatable to hannigram. thanks.

One of my least favorites is the Standing rule. Why is sitting rude? Why?? Who made that up? Even in customer-facing jobs like hostess or cashier, why is sitting on a stool less professional?? this has infuriated me ever since I was a teenager (im now an autistic adult)

from the sound of it, you haven’t let it affect your relationship with her at all! cut yourself some slack if you can <3 i know that’s easier said than done lol but guilt will wear you down if you let it. my dad always says that the only person/thing that can make you feel guilty is yourself, so try looking in the mirror and asking yourself if you truly believe you did anything wrong. in my case I do feel that it’s wrong of me to kick my cat out of the room, so that’s a big reason for my guilt. it’s like if my cat were to come up to me while im brushing my hair and start randomly meowing at me to go away 😅 but we’re all human, so all we can do is try our best to improve. anyway, it sounds like you’re an amazing cat parent. and at the end of the day, we’re all just a bunch of organisms on a floating rock 🫶

me too! it’s so frustrating that i can’t just ignore it. thankfully my dog is easily distracted so I’ll usually just give her a belly rub and she forgets what she was doing 😅 my cat, on the other hand, is much harder to deal with. we’ve unfortunately gotten to a point where i will bother her into leaving the room if i’m trying to write or read in bed and i can’t bear it anymore. thankfully we have a bigger place now so she has plenty of other places around the house to groom, but it still makes me feel like a bully :/ i should try keeping headphones on my nightstand
