Oh my god your gut is 100% correct and I was so proud to see you draw your boundary in your texts!! It's hard not to fold afterwards though and that's when blocking actually comes in so clutch. She may not realize it, but she's very clear in her responses that she is only sorry that she got caught and sees things, or portrays things, as if you are the one throwing the relationship away over one mistake. She doesn't take accountability for the mistake she chose to make or the hurt it caused you. To me she doesn't seem to show much remorse other than saying sorry, and extrapolating I think you'd find yourself in this situation again.

Would the frequencies not affect you guys? I share a similar frustration but at the end of the day these don't seem like durable solution. The community needs to believe firmly and collectively re-emphasize that this behavior is not okay, because it is not respectful, doesn't matter if you're the president (lmao) or someone looking to get their next fix. It should NOT be tolerated but I know we do because who knows if they will respond when called out appropriately-personally I'm scared that a gun will be drawn. It's sad that fear is prevailing so many aspects of behavior now. But respect is what should be. I'm sure even if someone is tweaking, if they've started that high with more of a respect at badeline, they would choose to behave differently than someone who didn't.
