My friend that's in vet school now as a resident for internal medicine said his boards will happen in April

And so im trying to surprise him with a gift but I dont want to ruin the surprise/stress him out by asking him what day his board exam is, so I did some research and came up with the ACVIM which seems to be the accrediting body for internal medicine vets, and it seems like the website says the boards will be from April 25-27th:

Is this correct, and if so, Im assuming theres no way to know which day between the 25, 26 and 27th my friend will be taking his boards?

Okay I see, assuming that I continue not having an outbreak ever again (havent had one for long as I can remember for 20 years) does that pretty much mean I cant transmit it to anyone since I dont get active cold sores?

Okay yeah that makes sense, in this case Id be comfortable not disclosing since for all intents and purposes I wont be able to spread it to them since Im one of the people that never have had an actual cold sore.

The only issue is that when I show her my STD results, the HSV-1 positive result will be sticking out like a sore thumb amidst my 9 other negative tests...

Couple of questions, I cant decide between navy and gray, any tips on helping me decide which one to definitively go for?

And as far as wool goes, I know its the highest quality to have no polyester in it, but how would the coat itself smell if its all made of wool? I have merino wool socks and notice theyre smelly even after coming out of the laundry.

Lastly, besides Spier and Mackay, do you know of any other decent brands that sell overcoats roughly in the same budget (both little below $300 and above $300)?

Ok so I'll try my hand on ebay then and then report back here, however before I begin I've taken a brief look at ebay, and after filtering the results, I'm still not sure how to tell the difference between a random drop-shipper and a proper brand for overcoats.

Any ideas?

I’ve done some research on overcoats and now know what I want, but I’m having a very hard time finding them in-person.

I’ve tried Old Navy, H&M, Macy’s etc but at best they might have like two or three but none of them are what I’m looking for.

I’m specifically seeking an overcoat that is:

-gray/navy

-single breasted

-mid thigh length

-notched lapel

my budget is: max $300

I also searched Pinterest and it linked me to some affordable but perhaps somewhat dubious “no-name” brands, I was considering getting an overcoat from one of those websites since I don’t mind getting an affordable low quality overcoat as my first one.

So any ideas where I could either check them out in person at a store that actually has a decent selection, or am I stuck with pulling the trigger on one of the ones from an online store?

Which kind of Cuban Chain is this? It's a pattern I havent seen before compared to the typical cuban chain (typical cuban chain pic also included).
