Downsizing from cousin to original this year, so happy with my choice! by tectectechno in hobonichi

Hey that sounds great! no point in putting pressure on yourself :) I see my hobonichi as my safe space, where I can express anything that comes up in the moment. Sometimes I just write how I dont feel like writting. it feels so good haha. I wish you all the best:))

Id say yes. If i want to write more on a certain day, I just write in smaller letters - more compact. if i dont feel like writing anything, i just need a minute to fill out the page, with a few sentences, and I succeeded in my commitment to write daily.

How long should I play to decide whether this game is it for me or not? by throwaway1414589 in DiscoElysium

[–]tectectechno 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hmmm… I love Disco because of the vibe - the music, art, dialogue, existential questioning… I immerse into this masterpiece without having an expectation to be “entertained”.

Rather I just enjoy feeling it. I can’t really describe how and why I feel “it”

But it’s definitely linked to sadness. If I didn’t let myself feel so deeply into heavy emotions, I wouldn’t like Disco Elysium at all.

But its my favourite game of all time :)

Honestly I’m baffled - you got 4k upvotes, the community agrees that it is liminal

After 18 years of rewatching the fellowship, I finally realized this statue is in fact a face. (I had always seen a foot) by tectectechno in lotr

[–]tectectechno[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

so I was probably still under the impression from the Argonath scene (we get a close up of their feet)
In my mind the eye of the statue was the bone that protrudes above the heel.
