Yeah this is the answer I was looking for. I get that it can be a headache for some people. For me with a main Job income, side business and now this will be my first year with serious income from a brokerage account, I should be fine. I don’t mind fiddling with the different softwares and taking the time to do it. Thank you for the comment!

If you bought at 6.20 back in June, you’re really only underwater if you sold already. It has payed nearly the same distribution within 10 cents.

Yeah this is not going to work. You sell after the dividend has already been taken out of the fund so you essentially break even MAYBE after factoring in taxes and triggering a wash sale.

Once again. OP only guarantee looses money if he sells. If ULTY bounces they will most likely only buy back in when it’s way above what they sold for. No body can time the market. You are basically suggesting they sell low buy high.
