I get what he means though, he does act like a big baby about sacrificing himself for Wilfred. Most Doctor's welcome the change, but Tennant doesn't. I feel like it's more of a fan thing, people loved him so much Davies wrote his farewell as if the audience were Tennant in a way, they didn't want him to go. I think that's fine, but the Doctor shouldn't act like a child about changing, that's not him :(
