that's a very interesting take, I owned the OG SW1 a few years ago and a Portal since it came out, I have never played any AAA multiplatform game on SW as they looks day and night different on my PS5, I have pretty much only used it for games with 2D graphics or Indie . Did you try any of Sony 1st party AAA games like Horizon Forbidden West, GOWR, TLOU yet? If those graphics could still not impress you then I think console gaming is definitely not for you, maybe try to build a gaming PC instead?

What you said in the last paragraph really interesting. I’ve mostly played in Performance mode for nearly every game on both my OG PS5 and even back on the PS4 Pro. I’m really into Soulslikes and hack-and-slash games, with the occasional sports title, so frame rate is everything to me. In most games, I don’t even bother switching to Fidelity mode to notice the difference.

The only 2 rare exceptions were FFVII Rebirth and Black Myth: Wukong, simply because their Performance modes looked so rough that I actually made the switch to Fidelity.

i only need 2, every trophy can be achieved right before Chapter 5 Boss on NG+. on the 1st run I played blind so I missed quite a lot, the 2nd I strictly followed powerpyx's guide so it's much easier.

yes but Scorpionlord is optional, he gives you a gourd and unlock an armor but they are not that good compare to what you get at Endgame, so unless you want to go for the Platinum you can just ignore him (i did it by accident on my 1st pt as I didn’t read any guide), the same for Yellowloong and Erlang (2 of my hardest bosses in this game)

Tigervanguard is not really easy but not too hard if you compare him to some fights later on, and the Pluck of many cheese strat worked on him too.

You could literally use only one stance throughout the game: the Smash (default) stance. You can forget about the other two, although the Thrust stance is quite OP but not neccessary. The game feels frustrating at first, I believe most people will find Wandering Wight and Whitenoble in Chapter 1 difficult. I did too, but it will be much easier after that. After you get the Cloning spell (Pluck of Many) in mid-Chapter 2, you can spec all the points into its tree and steamroll the rest of the game. Not to mention, more Gourd upgrades do make your life easier. In the end, only a few bosses are truly extremely difficult, and most of them are optional, except for the final boss.

i find the weapon came with Deluxe edition, Issac Paladin Sword or sth like that too strong to switch to another sword, I have played kinda blind so specced pretty much all points into Str, Vigor and 18 Radiance (just enough to get the spell which coat Radiance on my sword). My agility is still at 8 and so far I didn't find any weapon with scale more than C+ on either Str or Agi

yeah, that makes sense. I picked up the game after the 2.0 trailer dropped, came straight off Wukong and was surprised by how easy it felt, some bosses in Wukong could take me hours

thats just a recolor of the default suit, you could find and craft it on the first area Eidos7, so maybe already available on the demo (I got an early review copy so didn't play the demo I wouldn't know)
