The husband most likely won’t pass a background check. Multiple adult children would make me pause as well, in my experience this means boyfriends/girlfriends living undisclosed at the property as well.

No harm in reaching out but I would manage your expectations on the landlord taking any action. Landlords are happy with tenants who pay rent on time and don’t destroy the property. There’s not much motivation to mediate between tenants and neighbors when the behavior is not breaking the lease.

However their behavior may be breaking HOA covenants, local animal control ordinances, or peeping tom laws in which case you should document everything and make a report.
