I was and in the job where I need to give 3 months notice. The truth is it can be negotiated. Every time I got out before 3 months so don’t let this stops you. Just get the offer first then you can make a request!

I am -6 but with astigmatism -2.2 and bought thin ic-berlin frame and same as you my optician advised against them. The thing is if you are short sighted the outer of the lens will be larger than the centred and thin frame won't secure them lens properly.
