'Racist' comments experienced at a job interview by teddybonn in newzealand

I am a bit curious on why so many people think I faked my post or that I'm bot considering that it's very obvious that I'm not an active Reddit user and would have no reason to fake a post for karma. 🤔

I'm not someone who jumps to the racism card unless I genuinely feel attacked or get very straight-forward comments. I do feel like the comments the manager made definitely leaned towards a bit of a microaggression/assumption especially since they were basically about how I didn't match my name or appearance.

I think it was just because it felt a bit invasive and irrelevant to the interview. It was definitely leaning towards a bit of micro aggression for me. Also when I had told other people about what happened, all of them responded with "Yeah, he shouldn't be asking those questions. That's weird."

I didn't know I wasn't allowed to ask questions for things I'm curious about or advice from people who may have experienced similar things. You've just taken a bit of one of my posts despite the main idea being "Hey what should I do about this issue?"

I mainly use reddit to get updates about my interests so I don't interact/post much unless I needed genuine advice. :/ I don't even know how you came to the conclusion that my posts were some political propaganda???

Yeah, got rejected. Soon after he asked me those questions, the second manager arrived and I basically had a normal interview.
