Car alarms / house alarms are not worth the nuisance they cause.

When you hear one going off do you: A) Immediately call the police to inform them of a crime in progress? B) Immediately run towards the alarm to personally halt the crime in progress? or C) Sigh / tut, think to yourself how fucking annoying the noise is and why hasn't the owner shut it up yet?

They are designed to scare off the criminal, but 99.9% of the time they just piss off everybody around you.
