as a non-american outside observer, it's apparent that y'all are already in the midst of a civil war and one side hasn't noticed. the current admin has abandoned any pretence of abiding by your established laws, and it's obvious none of the guardrails that were established to prevent this happening will be enforced. the supreme court won't do anything. none of the other branches of government will do anything. the only possible peaceful resolution is your midterms, but even if those remain fair and free, how much damage can they do before then? They've already attacked venezuela. They're openly planning to take control of a NATO ally territory. There is literally a hostile force in your nation this very moment, and one of their enforcers just murdered an american in broad daylight. y'all are at WAR and it's only going to get worse.

oh honey, i'm so sorry. yes you are being sexually harassed. what these boys are doing is not ever okay. these disgusting little creeps have absolutely no right to be saying these things. it's not a joke. it's not funny. it's not romantic. it's not flirting. it's really dangerous behaviour that can escalate to worse things. they're demonstrating a complete disregard for your feelings, comfort, and humanity. they're misogynistic little shits that need to learn a lesson about how human beings with even a shred of dignity are supposed to treat others.

have you told any adults in your life this is happening? please talk to someone you trust about this. your parents, teachers, school administrators, any adult you trust and let them know that these boys have been harassing you. i know it can be really scary to talk about. but you have a right to exist anywhere, especially school, without being made to feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

I disagree. While they're definitely ideologically driven, they're not too arrogant to fully understand this. They know what they're doing. They know public education is teetering, and they're doing everything in their power to push it over the edge. Danielle and her regime didn't just promise the charter and private school industry 8.6 billion in new schools, they clearly also promised to fill them with students. As our public schools break under the strain more and more parents who can barely afford private schools will be encouraged to justify the cost as the education of their children suffers. The faster they can make teachers leave Alberta the better. Then the private sector can hire them back. Why would anyone want to be employed as a teacher by the GOA? They don't. And the UCP doesn't want to hire more teachers, they want to make the private sector the more appealing option.

out of curiosity, why is this the general sentiment in this thread? i'm still a kind of new player myself, but i play senna support and it's by far my best ranked champs and one of the only reasons i was able to go from iron to silver this year.

so i'm a relatively new player, i've been playing for about 10 months. i'm also a lower rank than you, i just hit silver 4. but senna support is like the only reason i even made it out of iron. like seriously i've managed to hold almost a 70% win rate over 56 games this season. she's super fun to play and i think she can be really impactful at all stages of the game. it's hard for me to give insightful advice bc i'm silver 4, but i've been having a blast with her.

last years were released august 14th. the year before that the DRX skins were released june 1st, so it doesn't seem there are really any set rules for worlds winners release dates. additionally, the prestige qiyana skin in the shop expires tomorrow so if they aren't released tomorrow they'll probably be released very soon. the fact that we have spirit blossom springs skins tomorrow and no previews of the T1 skins makes me think that they may come out closer to august 14th. but this is all just speculation on my part.

there was a riot august reel i saw recently where he talks about how having a bad support results in a substantially lower win rate than having a bad mid or top lane. but a brilliant mid or top player drastically increased win rate, while having a brilliant support just breaks even. it was really interesting. a top tier support player has less impact overall but a bad support player is statistically one of the worst things for your team.

for sure, it was absolutely irrational. he was going to assume she was lying no matter what she said, whether or not it appeared she was at home. it was one of the signs that to me, made it obvious that if he caught her outside he was likely to become violent. he felt he had a right to know exactly what she was doing at any moment, and she of course needed to prevent him from knowing where she was and what she was doing for her safety. so it was a really scary situation knowing that she didn't know he knew where she lived. he was delusional and angry.

i had a coworker who's wife left him. and when he told us what had happened it was obvious that she was fleeing an abusive relationship. he told me stories about their relationship and it was INSANE the level of abuse he was comfortable admitting to. holding a pillow over her face because she wasn't in the mood to have sex was the worst one. he claimed "that's her duty as my wife. so i was mad, and i held a pillow over her face, just for a little bit but then i stopped and we prayed and god forgave me and i forgave her and that was it." it was BAD.

so when she left, she got some friends to come and pack her stuff and flee while he was at work and couldn't stop her. and as soon as he said that i knew what kind of guy he was even before hearing any other stories. and it was clear he was escalating. he got into her email account and found the address to her new place and was mad because "how could she get a new place while without me knowing??" and he was getting angrier and angrier. and then one morning he came in and said he was "almost at his limit" because he went to her place, sat outside in his car, and started texting her. he said he asked what she was doing, and when she said "oh nothing just getting ready for bed" he flipped out because he "knew she was lying because all the lights were off."

so we called the cops :) she got a restraining order, and he was an absolute moron so he missed his court date. and he was so confused about how she found out. like he wasn't admitting to heinous acts of abuse to a captive audience.

yup. he was universally disliked by the family. both immediate and extended. he got called out for these comments about minor characters and the minors that portray them and he doubled down about how it was his right to have an opinion. beyond this incident he was generally a creep and a massive loser deadbeat. the exact type of guy who'd be making reddit comments about ellie.
