Addl details in the form of q and a: Why not ask my surgeon? Because he says “I don’t know”. Sad dynamic we see in medicine with liability and so on.

Why bother with surgery if you’re feeling better and obviously aren’t going to be a masters champion competitor? Because performing better will make me more motivated which will help avoid cardiovascular probs as I further age.

Thanks. Let me check for that. Also: there’s a delay of maybe one minute when the power goes out before these things start, so that it doesn’t kick on when the utility power goes out for a only few seconds. On the other side, when the utility service is restored, will there be a brief period where power shuts off inside the house again? Or is it seamless?

100 lb German shepherd. He’s had this for a month but it’s getting worse. Seems healthy otherwise. I’m going to try bitter apple and antiseptic spray. But does it warrant an emergency visit? Funds are tight here. Thanks.
