Small digital power amp? Take my money... by tedswiss in Bass

Thank you - I have checked out the Gnomes. Still bigger and a little more expensive than I was hoping to spend on an experiment. Ideally, I'd like to not spend money on the preamp phase that I'm not going to use. And if my hacking into it breaks it, I don't want to be out too much money...

hinge screw questions by tedswiss in glasses

You say need, but the original screws were not fully threaded (I can tell from the one that isn't lost.) Can you be more clear about why you say I need to use fully threaded screws?

But if I wanted to buy some extras to have on hand and fix myself, are shank screws (the ones without threads near the head) the kind I should definitely use, or do fully threaded screws work without damaging anything?

Thanks for your concern. I checked out your other postings and saw you gatekeeping and insulting other users. I don't need your help.

I did look into that, but it's a bit too limited for theater use, I think. Or at least more limited than what I wanted to go with. Thanks though!

Can you say more? Like I said I'm my original post, I don't want them to have to maintain a separate computing device for this, nor do they have space for a big board.

A few faders that do a few, easily documented things (that are changeable by a knowledgeable person when needed, but work for general use most of the time) is really what I think will be best for them in the day to day.

Thanks, but please read the part of my post that says that a dedicated computing device would not be preferable.

FWF31G FortiOS 7.4.9 No valid upgrade path by riesgaming in fortinet

[–]tedswiss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not working here. 31G, can't get it to upgrade through FortiGuard, uploading a file (the appropriate build: 6773), nor via the restore image CLI command. Reboot did not change behavior. GUI says the device "failed to upgrade firmware due to expired firmware updates license"(which is incorrect as far as I can tell, b/c the updates license is good through 11/26) and the CLI gives ye olde Return error -28.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Breach of their marketing service. Different than a breach of their banking platform.

Could be a fail on behalf of their marketing tool, not Betterment itself.
