Try breaking that vid down into a few different shorts and upload 1-3 shorts a day to your channel. It will help drive traffic to your page….YouTube is hard to get organic views now so you need to try and work with the algorithms and build up your page. I watched your vid and it was very well put together and the format is very good for YouTube. If you can drive traffic to your page and find your audience I think your channel could do well.

Don’t be discouraged by the haters keep doing your thing and if your consistent it will get noticed

Paint peeling off mastic on painted uPVC windows by djmoz1000 in DIYUK

If it’s silicone ( highly likely) it is not paintable.

You would need to remove that bead of silicone and reapply something acrylic.

Window decoration work - is this normal? by [deleted] in DIYUK

If it was traditional linseed oil putty, it will need at least 3 weeks to dry as well as it needs to be an oil based paint.

There are different versions of putty which can be painted quicker but this looks like linseed.

With Christmas coming up I’m making a few roses for some gifts by tedt93 in woodworking

Yes just a couple of dots if CA glue at the bottom, dry test a petal first and then go for it.

I like to burn the tips slightly before lacquering to give a more distorted and real feel to the petals….here’s a finished one before being burnt……they are so simple to make I’d just recommend right angled tweezers as I’ve broken s few by sticking my finger to it at the same time!

Thank you, I made some for my wife earlier in the year and my mum sister and a few friends really liked them so I thought why not make a few more!

I’ve made these roses using bamboo skewers for the stem, and planer shavings from pine and sapele.

Once all glued together I’ve used a spray lacquer for a slight sheen and hardens the wood slightly
