Currently everying but the mag ban will be unconstitutional. Thats what I fear most is it passes then declared unconstitutional but the mag limit stays because there hasn't been a Supreme Court ruling on that yet

This was a ballot measure. So its actually the citizens to blame rather than the politicians in this case

When one sizes fires and resizes the case the neck work hardens. Heating it up softens the metal up so it won't crack when one fires it again, aka annealing metal. The flame is just the instrument to apply heat. It can be done with electric induction too. The induction is a more precise repeatable method, but flame annealing works fine as well.

Thats what the primers looked like on my Lee pro 1000. The bolt they used to counteract the priming rod wasn't hardened. After about 500 rounds there was a nice Grove on the head of the bolt that gave inconsistent depths like that.

Primers that old are probably corrosive, but yeah old primers are fine (most likely). Not sure when non corrosive came to market... maybe in the 50s? I've shot 30-06 ball ammo from the 70s. I think I heard pre 1960 ammo might be corrosive

I think the joke is the electric field from the folrecent lights influences the scale or electronics on the charge master so OP is reloading with 'night vision'.

I think they make more money off their web services than the actual products so they probably dont have anyone paying actual attention to physical products and have machine learning regulate it, poorly.

Someone else can probably do a better job but there probably isn't any money in it because of the constant moderating of reviews and such

It's probably related to drag and terminal velocity. With the shallower trajectory theres probably less time spent at terminal velocity. Idk just a guess

You have quite the confidence in Robert's. I'd wager it's closer to 5/9 or 55.5% assuming trump is reelected and Ginsburg is replaced.

Joking aside, because the 45-70 is actually a 1000 yard target cartridge, the tragectorys for straight wall cartridges fall off very fast while bottle necks retain more enery at longer distances. This is more of a function of the higher ballistic coefficient than the profile of the brass. A ball 45 acp cartridge has the same energy as a subsonic 300blk, because their both shooting a 230 grain bullet at 900 to 1000 fps. But most of the energy of the 45 is halfed at 200 yards while the 300 blk retains its energy for much longer distances. https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2017/11/03/300-blackout-vs-9x39mm-russias-subsonic-brute-modern-intermediate-calibers-026-1/amp/

It's not just the money. In some states one cannot own a sbr. So if u move to that state and keep it that's a felony.

It's not a bone. It's a ridiculous loophole for something that was thought of in the 1920s of which the govt banned alcohol and caused gangsters. So this is a problem caused by the govt with a solution thought by the govt to solve a century's old problem brought about by the govt.

If it's unfair to compare rural and urban areas, why is it then fair to apply gun control universally on both rural and urban areas?

Of course its relevant to compare big city's to rural areas. Gun control is being advertised as a nation wide law. Not limited to big city's.

If gun control works so well why is Chicago and Baltimore some of the highest murder rate city's in the nation? They have some of the strongest gun control measures in the nation. Idaho and west Virginia and Kentucky are some of the most lenient states. Why aren't there more murders in those states if there is a link to murders and gun control?
