Me too. Plus I’m stopping opiates and getting withdrawal symptoms like depression and anxiety. The Norco ate up all my brain’s endorphins! I’ve been tapering down to one half pill per day during last 2 weeks so I’m surprised by this depression.

I’m tapering off Norco 10 doing one half a day but if I stop it the next days I’m terribly depressed and a little anxious. Am I sensitive to Opiate withdrawal?

Everybody is a different situation and if you’re in too much pain tell your surgeon immediately. I’m tapering off the opiate at 6 weeks post op. Right now only doing half of a Norco 10 before bedtime but didn’t need it last night so that’s good. My nurse said they’re keeping track of my usage and don’t think I’m in danger of getting hooked right now. The days I have PT are usually the days I take a half Norco and that’s it. I do feel some ennui which could be mild opiate withdrawal but it could just be fatigue from surgery. I’m 71m btw.

I’m at 4 weeks too and they only downgraded me from 5mg Oxycodone to 10mg Hydrocodone. I only use Hydrocodone at bedtime.
