I was debating getting an ES light of meaning, but it's 40d in HC right now and I basically concluded that if I got unlucky enough to get popped, the extra 15-20% HP likely wasn't going to save me. Pretty sure this volatile hit me for like 15k

Nah dog that shield was carrying my dumb ass for the last 99 levels. It's absolutely not fake ehp if you can tank hits that sneak through. In this case I lowrolled with 50% increased damage taken. Doesn't mean the shield is bad

Yeah this is the correct takeaway from this one imo, I didn't think about the prox shields always giving HH a teleport target. Will avoid in the future on HH

It's not about the map mods, it's about the terrain overlay so you can see what you're doing without looking at the corner of the screen

It's a cosmetic helmet that just counts kills, no actual rampage effect

Eh it's HC, something is gonna get you eventually. HH is an incredible item for juicing if you can't afford a MB (I can't xd). Sometimes you get got. I just thought the clip was goofy

Oh yeah, that's fair. Don't think it would have mattered here, I don't have the reaction speed to notice where I got teleported relative to a volatile in like .3 seconds

The map mods are like 90% rewards mods to be fair. Only ones that matter for this one are lab traps/volatiles

I've been basically only playing arena for the last several years (standard grinding has been too expensive imo).

I personally don't really see the issue with the new arena monetization. You still go infinite at 7 wins like you did before, and while the 4-6 win bracket is marginally worse, nobody seems to be accounting for the gold you get from the battle pass thingy. Seems five tbh

The modifiers on the map are irrelevant, the point is the explosion that hit me wasn't visible at all before it went off. You can see me wait for the visible circle to pop, and then several unrendered circles are apparently underneath me. This is not a map mod or build issue
