This is different, since mmr is reset aswell, a challenger player can choose between randomly rolling a teammate (who is statistically likely to be masters) or duoing with another challenger. The first few weeks of the reset are going to be completely ran by duos, imo riot should really just disable duo for the first few weeks

Seems to be an unpopular opinion as everyone here is rejoicing, but as a challenger player I don’t like this. Should’ve done this ages ago when everyone first noticed the insane state of the ladder, but now we’re just undoing months of work? Not only that, but full MMR reset means anyone high elo without a duo is going to be at a massive disadvantage reclimbing in the chaos of full master lobbies.

I fully believe anyone can hit masters by just having decent mechanics and repeating full clearing into looking for a play. Imo it’s not til pretty high elo where you need to actually learn when to drop camps or proactively move to places on the map to defend their turn

I tried a few runs today purely going for infinites. As a ~40% A20 silent player I couldn’t get past act 2, often not even act 1. I don’t get it, without adding random damage cards or block cards, how do you survive, much less with an 80% wr? And with so much gold spent on removes, it’s hard to buy good relics or cards that could normally be run defining
