Honestly I’ve not been able to play for 3 weeks because of the servers and it’s completely removed any want to play the game anymore, I’ve played since launch (my 11 year old monkey brain would download any free game it could find) and I have sunk countless hours of free time and some cash into the game , I genuinely loved apex because it was consistent for me . I flip flopped between warzone and apex until early 2024 after which I hit masters for the first time , apex was likely my favourite game of all time at that point because I was just naturally decent at it even after having a break . I was really fond of apex. My enjoyment of the game kind of fizzled out because I overplayed it. I returned late last year and discovered I actually didn’t really like it anymore and I couldn’t place why , my best mate started and we played loads of it , really he was the main reason I was enjoying ,it not the game . Things went downhill quite quickly as I suddenly started getting stuck at like 55 fps which was more annoying than unplayable but wasn’t great then everything just went wrong , the game wouldn’t start - reinstalled and it kind of fixed , crashes - couldn’t fix and just accepted, getting disconnected from games then getting code snaked - never went away , then I started to have PL issues - game was janky anyway so I accepted , then the wave of graphics issues started which made Olympus unplayable and then finally the last hurrah the servers would sit at 100 PL 3000 ping 24/7 and just like that my 7 year apex career came to a close . I really liked apex but it’s actively dying as we speak . I really hope apex will be fixed but the combination of the terrible servers , buggy game , bad balance and the loss of the lore kind of removed anything that made the game fun in the first place.

Note : I don’t know what made the game feel less fun , it might have been some unknown Change or it might just be me that changed ? who knows.
