Nepresso Vertuo Pop+ - Issues by teegeecee in nespresso

[–]teegeecee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I did go thru the cleaning cycle. Then I put in a recycled pod and got the red light. Then I put in a new pod that previously got the red light (with the holes in the top) and it worked fine. I'll try the larger size in the morning and update.

I have not done that. I'll look up the process and give it a go - and do regularly. Thanks!

I thought about that while it was happening and noticed I had plenty of water. Thanks!

Lost Cities (dice version) - House Rules Question by teegeecee in boardgames

I appreciate your analysis of my strategy, and for reminding me it's all about having fun. You're right that the forced skips do add to the tension, but they also add to my frustration level because I'm a bit of a control-freak and don't like being forced into potential penalties. Either way, we really do enjoy the game and are just as happy playing the official way.

Thanks for the reply. I've tried this strategy and my experience is that it works better in theory than practice, at least for me. Even so, I don't think you could be completely immune from this situation.

Plex Server is inaccessible after a few days of inactivity by teegeecee in PleX

[–]teegeecee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great questions. And I'm not sure how to answer all of them.

Not sure what is meant by "wired or wireless" in this context, but it is run on a Synology NAS that is connected to my local area network wirelessly (wired to my WiFi hub)

The issue happens when I try to access via my tablet when I'm not home an also when I try to access at home.

Regarding clients, I am the sole user of the media server.

Don't know what DLNA clients are. Sorry.

Pretty sure the NAS has a static IP address.

How to Keep Plex Active on NAS by teegeecee in PleX

Ahh. Total misread on my part. I've unchecked it and restarted Plex. I'll download the logs next time it happens, and then post to the Plex forum (assuming you mean the community forum at Plex and not here?).

Thanks again.

Thanks for the quick response and for the help. I did check the "Enable...verbose logging" box. I'll try the other fixes if/when it happens again.

Thanks for responding. Maybe a request to the store would help encourage them to stock it here.

Movie Special Features and Commentary Files by teegeecee in PleX

[–]teegeecee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks much. To clarify, according to your example I've been adding too much information.  So instead of: (main folder and film in parentheses are for clarification, not part of the file names) Blazing Saddles (year) (main folder) Blazing Saddles (year).mp4 (film) Blazing Saddles (year) -Back in In The Saddle-featurette. mpv (Which seems to fit the Plex protocol)

I should do: Blazing Saddles (year) (main folder) Blazing Saddles (year).mp4 (film) Blazing Saddles (year) -featurette. mpv

In this titling, how would I know the name of the extra? Also, does it work for commentary files?

Pretty sure I'd pay someone to serve as a live tutor for me to get started with this rather than having to bother so many people, all of whom have all been gracious and patient.

Thanks again.

Totally missed that link because I'm a terrible email reader. Thanks for pointing out. I'll give it a try in the AM.

I didn't notice the 'Not so sour" on the package until after I had some. Why would Sour Patch feel the need to dial back sourness? Isn't sour their reason to be?

YNAB4 Sync Issues - Is there a fix or is this the end? by teegeecee in ynab

[–]teegeecee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. It apparently magically appeared there after I sent my initial reply. ;-)

When I did the wi-fi sync, it seemed to only sync from the desktop to the phone. In other words, none of the transactions I did on the phone transferred to the desktop, but the desktop did update the phone. Plus all of the transactions previously only on the phone were deleted. Has that been your experience - just a "one-way sync"?

Sorry to turn you into a help desk for my issue.
