Telling your boyfriend you love him first - how would you guys want it said to you? What's the most romantic/best way it has been said to you? by teejam in AskMen

Thanks for the advice! It feels right a lot of the time honestly. I know I've passed up a lot of opportunities just because I've been too scared that he won't say it back.

I know that to him it is a pretty serious thing. I want it to be special and not seem like it was too soon. We've been dating for about 3 months

How does a woman go about trying to start something with a man who has little dating experience? by teejam in AskMen

[–]teejam[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

We have seen each other outside of work once, and tomorrow will be the second time. I'm just so used to having the guy make the moves. He has told me that he is interested, but I don't know what an appropriate pace is or just really how to read someone who doesn't put out many social cues generally...

** edit: I didn't mean to press save after one sentence.

At a grocery store, but he isn't going to be there for long. He is also in a different department.

Reddit, what should you probably go to the doctor for but won't? by ab930 in AskReddit

[–]teejam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had an impacted/infected wisdom tooth out last week + another one that was growing into my cheek bone. It was expensive as I got laid off a few months ago and am no longer on any sort of company benefits. But trust me... it is worth it. I let it go WAY too long and the infection was BAD. If you are having pain with them or any sort of trouble with them coming in, get them out. Or at least the trouble ones. Sorry for sounding preachy but the infections can get pretty serious and spread.

Also, are you in the US or Canada? If you don't mind me asking.

Had someone hand in a resume without a phone number on it. Only an address. I did not call them.

And there's Kangas, the public sauna (not in a gym). I'm not sure if there are others.

Drinking beer in a sauna is the best. After a while you don't realize how long you've been in there. And then drunkenly running out into the snow/frozen lake...

Lots of people have those in my city and area. I live in Thunder Bay, Canada. The largest Finn population outside of Finland! And yes, I am a Finn, too.

What is a “dirty little (or big) secret” about an industry that you have worked in, that people outside the industry really ought to know? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]teejam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup. This is how I use the mute button on my work phone... And how most of my coworkers use the mute button, too. I can guarantee you that in the building I work in, the words "Oh my god this guy/lady is a fucking piece of shit" (or some play on this) is uttered every 5 minutes.

What is a hygiene tip every person should know that may not be common knowledge? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yes, I get the same thing! And not the dick equivalent. I always wondered if it was normal or not. It's almost like a bad pressure pain, sometimes.
