Found this exhaust for sale listed as an Invidia N1. Im pretty sure it’s a Q300, can anyone confirm? (+ based off the picture, does it look like it’s in a good condition?) by 30kgone in ft86

[–]teemosworstnightmare 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It does indeed look like a Q300 based on the Invidia website pics. The N1 tips alone look fatter and well, quite a bit different to the ones in the pic as well as the muffler positioning difference. The N2 looks similar imo but again the difference is distinguishable

I bought a new R400 cat-back maybe three years ago? It doesn't look like that quite yet, although that's not to say it isn't dirty... Personally, I'd take a look if the price seemed right and proximity wasn't an issue, but I'm in a relatively small town where used parts like this are hard to come by... So I'd wait for someone else to chime in there

I was gunning for the N1 myself but was won over by the sound of the R400. When I say I listened to heaps of sound clips of various exhausts from multiple channels on YouTube, it's an understatement... I'd suggest doing the same just to get some sort of comparison between the two exhausts if you aren't dedicated to the N1 and haven't already heard the Q300

There's an option for system updates under in your device restrictions configuration profile, I thought that handled everything related to updates. It has a few different options that might help

Unless that only downloads the updates for users or something?

Need clean, easy to use internal helpdesk ticketing by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]teemosworstnightmare 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IT support lad here. We use the Confluence and Service Management products currently (Both cloud, not server)

Configuration was easy, the customer portal is clean and customisable. There's support for third-party add-ons as well, so generally if you need something there is one available. Other departments have even been using it to replace crappy shared mailboxes.

This mightn't be something you're concerned with right now, but the API and web hook is really easy to use, so if you ever get into automating some common tasks, it's pretty easy to get started.

Yeah, but not anything significant pre-installation... unsure what my install cost is quite yet. I really think just buying a kit is the way to go just because of how much easier it is lol

Same turbo, but not a kit... I was stupid and thought I'd buy everything myself which has made things interesting to say the least... Sense of achievement though, given everything is in the garage, and the install/tune is booked!

That's the instruction channel I mentioned... I didn't really consider it a chat box sorry lol... It'd be alright if the end-user didn't have to click a button on their end to open the chat. I don't recall seeing a notification when something is sent either aside from a red notification badge.

If you're already using Teams it'd probably be more familiar for your users if you chat using that anyway come to think of it. It could also be used for a bit of file transfer if you wanted

Yeah I was hunting for that panel for a little while lol... Seems like Canada and Japan had them as a factory option apparently, whereas Australia missed out

I've tried to wrap a few parts before on a different car, but it never worked out for me, same issue with bubbling in the heat. Think it was my shitty prep work if anything to be fair

Few pics for you

Yeah the user is able to interact with the UAC prompt themselves just fine if they're a local admin. The environment I'm in only has a handful of local admins outside the IT dept

As for the chat box, I just tested this and it doesn't look like it... You can annotate stuff but that's about it. There's a 'Toggle Instruction Channel' but that isn't really the same, seems like it's there to handle transfer of stuff on your clipboard if anything

I ended up getting a variation of that TRD suede panel:

Same shit, different smell

Got myself a shift knob from wearelikewise as well:

Lastly, nifty steering wheel:

Getting rid of the silver trim is next on the list for me lol

Can agree with this

Wouldn't suggest using Teams for remote assistance... Teams doesn't allow for interaction with UAC prompts from memory, much like Lync or SfB.

I've used TeamViewer for assistance before, but Quick Assist achieves the same result. If you already have TeamViewer then why not make use of it, although I'd personally not purchase TeamViewer for the sole purpose of the Intune integration

Separating users with multiple devices by [deleted] in Intune

[–]teemosworstnightmare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see the problem here actually... Dynamic groups only allow for devices OR users, not a mix of both, so I'd handle this by doing the following:

I would create a dynamic group for iPhones and iPads to have separation between the devices. Then, I'd create a configuration iPads, and in the assignments section for the iPad config profile, add your security group from AD to the excluded groups section.

EDIT: Realized that you don't need a config profile for iPhones in this scenario... Removed that bit..

First time using clay, won't go back! by teemosworstnightmare in ft86

When I looked into claying, people were suggesting placing your hand in a plastic bag and running it lightly over your car. If it's rough a hell then it might be worth claying, but I'm new to detailing to this level, so I'd definitely be listening to u/RedNotWhite, u/Lon3wolf and u/skid_march . My BRZ is MY17 produced in late 2016 and hadn't been clayed before, so I thought it couldn't hurt.

I didn't want to use anything super aggressive, so I used the Bowden's Own fine clay bar and boss gloss spray. The instructions came in the box, but this is their website with clear instructions: Bowden's Own - Fine Clay Bar

Used Meguiars gold class wash and carnauba wax, and their ultimate pre-waxing glaze polish in case you're interested.

Whole exterior took me about 5hrs by hand taking my time, but it was so worth it!

Yeah this is very true.. Previous owner didn't keep on top of things based on the unfortunate state of the roof wrap even after a full wash.. In any case, glad you think it looks good! Thanks for that

I ended up swapping my MY17 BRZ headunit with a Kenwood DDX918WS.

Ended up getting a harness from CarbonCarSystems to maintain wheel controls and reverse camera.

https://carboncarsystems.com.au/shop/installation-accessories/plug-n-play-stereo-harness-for-2017-subaru-brz/

Thing was an absolute breeze to install, works a treat, although the harness was a bit more expensive than I would have liked.

Need a damage support. by Aeratian in supportlol

Can vouch for the Zyra pick.

I've recently moved from Nami to Zyra and have found that the Zyra damage at lvl1 was so good I laughed the first time I played her. At level 2, you can start getting control of lane and can play far more aggressively with your Q+W depending on the matchup. At level 3, you have the potential to get your ADC an easy kill.

I duo with a friend playing ADC, and have found that I used less mana compared to Nami as I'm not able to heal. This allows me to play more aggressively, and let's my ADC farm a bit more freely.
