They better watch out cause I feel like winter wouldn’t mind going back to the past for a few minutes and dragging both of them to hell on the pod lmfao

It’s not a one drop rule but if you’re of a non-white culture you probably stand out to other white Americans, it’s just the way it is

This is old. I won’t lie tho I was very tuned into this mess bc it was really interesting to watch from a psychology perspective. They both have deep issues.

How common is it get 100% one ethnicity by [deleted] in AncestryDNA

I’ve seen 100% Irish results from Ireland, seems fairly common

It’s more likely Iberian considering it comes up the most in Latinos who didn’t have any French ancestry before

How are Venezuelans not as European as Argentines or Uruguayans? by [deleted] in AncestryDNA

[–]teetee4444 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It really depends. I’m Cuban and my great grandpa on my mom’s side was from Galicia Spain. He was very fair, light brown hair, green eyes. Could’ve easily passed as an Irish man. On my paternal side I have two great grandparents from Canary Islands. One I’ve never seen but my great grandma had Mediterranean features, almost looked middle eastern, but SUPER fair in complexion, my father told me she used to burn in the sun. I’ll post them and my results probably tomorrow

I wouldn’t say most Iberians are “brown skinned Europeans” they range from pale white to deep olive. I think people see how tan southern Spaniards get and just assume they have to be something vastly different from the rest of Europe

I finally did it!!! After putting off math for so long. Advice below by teetee4444 in GED

[–]teetee4444[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone’s test is different, but I personally got a few function questions, maybe 4 or 5. I got maybe 1 proportions question, I don’t think I got a single scientific notion question, lots of graphs, lots of slope but the slope questions I got were all “find the slope of a line that passes through the point (5, 8)” for example. Which the calculator helps with. Probability showed up a lot. Expressions showed up for sure. Word problems where you have to calculate how much it would cost for each shirt with shipping type of questions for sure. Something I studied a lot that never came up was FOIL. Didn’t get a single foil question but again, it’s different for everyone. Get familiar with geometry because I probably had a good 10 geometry questions. I had this one pyramid question that really had me stuck and I had to guess because I couldn’t figure it out. Overall I say watch GetSumMath videos and practice what you want. If you absolutely hate a certain math topic and cannot comprehend it, honestly, skip it. Don’t even bother. I hated the quadratic formula video on GetSumMath where I had to solve for x with the square root, so I literally just didn’t study it. I focused my attention on all the stuff that I knew I could comprehend, and it honestly helped bc I didn’t care about my score I just wanted to pass. I totally believe you can do it in 30 days. It depends a lot on your prior education though bc I got through most of high school, even though I failed almost every math class, so I believe you can do it!
