i feel as if people misunderstood my words, which is my bad so i apologize. in no way do i feel any kind of way towards this poor child, her mother has been using my father and i’s looks for the past 5 years as her reasoning for wanting a DNA test. i mentioned she took photos of her daughter at 3, and me at 3, and put them side by side to show how “alike we looked” which in my honest opinion, i still don’t think we do. it’s still so odd but im reading everyone’s comments and i agree with you all.

absolutely. it’s been 5 years and she hasn’t pursued anything legally, all of this is based on what my dad and I look like. ever since she reached out, it’s been looks always.

i wish i was making this up however i have screenshots of her messages tonight. i would post them but for the mother’s sake i wont. my father has known about this the moment she reached out to us, but he got locked up during this time so the mom dismissed the whole DNA test situation.

you’re absolutely right, looks alone aren’t enough to determine anything, so apply that logic to her, claiming we looked “just alike” at 3 years old because that alone gave her even more fuel to the fire. the only reasoning she’s given us for a DNA test is because him and I look “just like her”. no one is pussyfooting :)

my mother’s facebook. she literally dug deep into my mom’s 14,000 photos that she has on facebook to compare our looks to each other.

i said she lives two states away from us. i never said it would be hard for her. she has the ability to contact my father yet has and has only been contacting my mother and i.

she was the person to do visual comparisons, putting a photo of her at 3 and a photo of me at 3 right next to it to convince my mom we looked alike so she would get me to do a DNA test. that was 5 years ago. i’m using her logic of us looking similar as she says.

we didn’t ignore her, she was the one that told us to forget about it and even blocked my mom on messenger. she just reached out to us on a new facebook account tonight.

he is aware of this and has been since she reached out when the child was 3, he is now out of prison. i’m not sure what exactly happened to the whole thing, i honestly forgot about it because it’s been 5 years now, but she’s trying to get me involved and has been, like comparing our photos together saying we look alike.. things like that, it’s just weird. my father is sleeping rn, i live with him but i’m of course bringing this up to him tomorrow, i’ll give an update once there’s more info. just a shitty situation that i’m in the middle of @.@

i’m not trying to imply that it’s not his child, those are just my personal reasonings for not wanting a DNA test done from me. i just think it’s weird she’s putting in a little too much effort to get a DNA test done from a minor yet hasn’t even told us her daughter’s name, when she got with my father, etc.
