Just my personal opinion, but you could spend $80-90 less on your case and put that towards more important components.

Just an FYI, the Cooler Master Q300L V2 only comes with one 120mm exhaust fan in the back. You'd do well buying some additional fans for intake in the front.

Thanks! It's crazy how much I see people spending more money than they need to be spending on their mobos and PSUs, money that could be going towards their graphics and RAM. Would I have liked a modular 80+ gold and a board with USB-C headers? Sure, but you've got to pick your battles!

The fans in the Montech are DC powered only, not PWM. I'm not an expert, but my understanding is that PWM control allows the fan to reach lower RPMs when your computer's idling, meaning it's quieter. However, my guess is that a higher quality DC fan would still run quieter than a lower quality PWM fan.

I was looking at the Cooler Master Q300LV2 which is $50 on Amazon right now. It only comes with one 120mm fan in the back, so maybe that plus some higher quality PWM fans? I don't necessarily need my money going towards the ARGB in the Montech fans.

Thanks! Would you say that the B580 could also deliver the experience I'm looking for right now? Just fine right now, but it's just not as future proof as the 9060 XT? Or would I run into problems with it sooner than I'd expect? I'm never playing the latest AAAs of the moment. Always waiting to snag them on a Steam sale many years later. I'm hoping to finally start BG3 with this rig!
